🍁 Guanella Pass Scenic Byway
Mid-September – early October
Take the scenic route just outside the city for winding mountain roads, high-elevation aspen groves, and some of Colorado’s first golden color.
🌲 Kenosha Pass
Late September – early October
Make the drive along Highway 285 for one of the most classic fall-color escapes near Denver, with golden aspens lining the Colorado Trail.
🏔️ Rocky Mountain National Park
Mid-September – early October
Head west for mountain views, crisp trails, and golden aspen groves around Bear Lake and along the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway.
